About Sarah

Hi there! I'm Sarah, the gal behind Sarah Mae Crochet. My mom taught me how to crochet when I was a youngster (around 10) & I've had yarn in my hands since! I also fell in love with knitting in 2020 which opened a whole new world of making. 

The majority of my free time is spent crocheting or knitting (my family can confirm!). I find these hobbies to be incredibly relaxing and comforting, especially since losing my mom a few years ago. Crocheting helps me remain connected to her and all the wonderful memories I have. 

Besides my yarn-tastic hobbies, I am also a wife, mother to 3 boys, and an oncology nurse. I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, a place I still call home today. 

I absolutely love discovering new patterns by all the creative artists out there and turning them into a physical product. Making brings me so much joy and I can't wait to pass that on to you!
